UPMA KITE
Managing Director
Upma Kite, the dynamic entrepreneur has recently acquired Women in Fashion. She is determined to take the legacy of Carly, the founder of Women in Fashion to new heights.
The President & Director of RF SKINCARE and an award winner of the Accolades Award for Women of Influence, is the founder of Ravishing Fashionistas and the charity organisation Dignifying Women.

A model and entrepreneur with a passion for breaking stereotypes and discrimination in the fashion industry, Upma started her career in the modeling industry and quickly made a name for herself as an internationally published model.
During her modelling tenure, she noticed that models were often stereotyped and discriminated against based on their size, age, race, or religion and made it her mission to change the mindsets of those who discriminate.

Through RAVISHING FASHIONISTAS and Dignifying Women, Upma provides a platform for women of all ages and sizes, and supports domestic violence survivors by providing them guidance and support. Upma believes that the fashion industry still has a dominant body shape, skin colour, and style, and is determined to be the change and shift the mindset around diversity, inclusion, and any form of discrimination.

As a renowned figure in the fashion industry, having won the title of Mrs. Australia Universal 2019 and the People's Choice Award at the Mrs. Universal pageant in Mexico. She is a firm believer in giving back to the community and advocates for women empowerment by instilling self-confidence and positive body image.
In addition to her successful Modelling career, she holds a private pilot licence and has experience as a marital counsellor. Upma has also been actively involved in various charity events, raising thousands of dollars for organizations such as the Heart Foundation and the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Carly Vidal-Wallace
Founder
Carly has worked in the fashion industry in Australia, Europe and USA. She initially started the Qld Fashion Festival Brisbane Fashion Month and ran events for Fashion Revolution, QUT CEA, Comme Des Garcons Melbourne and volunteered with the Australian Fashion Chamber in both Australia and New York. On moving to Los Angeles she widened her network of fashion industry networks and knowledge when she was working as the fashion curator of the worlds largest fashion designer platform Not Just a Label, looking after a community of 42,000 designers. She has travelled to Paris Fashion Week and attended events like the worlds first Vegan Fashion Festival. Carly brings her wide knowledge of global contacts to the Australian community. What she has learnt most is how crucial networking is to your success, and where she can help by networking local Australians to her global community she is keen to do so. In recent years she has added a passion to discover, nurture and invest in emerging fashion, with a particular interest in accessories, where in 2022 she launched global jewellery marketplace she.her. www.sheher.com
Abby Potter
Adelaide Correspondant
Abby is a passionate member of South Australia’s creative community. Driven by her desire to grow and nurture homegrown talent, Abby works with next generation of fashion creatives as a lecturer at TAFESA, alongside her own Adelaide-based label, House of Campbell.
Utilising her industry experience, including working abroad in China and showing at New York Fashion Week, Abby possesses significant skills and knowledge including quality assurance, production management, local and offshore supply chains, design development, sourcing, media and communications strategy as well as working with international sales agents.
Abby is focussed on creating a vibrant, inclusive and sustainable fashion future.
